ABOUT US.

Arabella Sport Horses is run by myself, I am a hobby breeder who enjoys the company of all of my horses, most of my day is spent with them and my 3 German Shepherds which can be seen at www.whitegermanshepherds.co.uk  I am extremely proud of all of my horses and dogs. I have owned horses and German Shepherds for the last 15 years.

The stud is set in the beautiful countryside of Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire where I breed and produce Dressage, Showjumping and Eventing horses which all descend from excellent bloodlines.

We specialise in breeding foals with outstanding temperaments and conformation.

We have a selection of quality young stock and all of these horses have been specifically bred to have natural ability, conformation and the temperament to match.

I have 3 breeding mares at the moment and all of these mares have the most wonderful temperaments which they haved passed onto their offspring.

The mares are brought back to my house in Eaton Bray, Bedfordshire for foaling from Mursley, Buckinghamshire, this is so i can keep a very close eye on them when they are close to there foaling date. I stay with the mare and watch her foal just incase there is any complications, which i did have last year with Jemma being a maiden mare if there is any problems i am right there to help, the mares and foals stay at my home until it is time for weaning the paddock out of the back of my house is right next to a busy road with all sorts of vehicles travelling on it, this helps to get the foals used to noisey vehicles. The mares are moved back to the paddock in Mursley, Buckinghamshire, at weaning and the babies stay with me in Eaton Bray so I can keep a eye on 24/7 this gives me more time to spend with them and handle them i do always leave one mare with them so that they do learn some manners. This seems to work very well as we have had very straight forward weanings with no fuss at all. The babies are quite happy as they are still in a place that they know and the mares don't seem to mind being taken from their babies, they arrive at there new paddock and go off and start grazing.
